Unscrupulous and Disingenuous. Avoid like the plague. They will carry out as much work as possible without authorization and charge like a wounded buffalo.I sent a 25 yr old truck to them for an MOT prep. The only instruction given was that as the vehicle was worth 8-10k max the most important thing was to spend as little as possible. They seemed surprised when I was angry with a bill that came to 2.3k. A bill that included 240+vat for driving the vehicle to test. Multiple replacements of parts with genuine Volvo parts (1 at 300, when an alternative is available for 70 from a factor, or 20 from a scrap yard!) for pieces of equipment that didn't need replacing. When they were unable to source the correct replacement parts from Volvo - they drove down to Volvo in Bristol to source the parts - and billed me at 40/hr for their trip due to their inability to spec the right part.
