Nice quiet setting with lots of car parking space. You can sit in the bar area and have a casual lunch or go through to the back and it is beautifully decorated with space for large tables. Haven't eaten here in the evening but the lunches I have had have always been good
2nd visit and the same warm relaxed welcome. Good food and lovely coffee. We are going again.
What a little gem of a place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptional with so much choice it was hard to decide what to have. The rooms are full of charm and character. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you all so much for an enjoyable stay.
Menu looked so good it was difficult to decide what to have. I went with the lamb shank curry which was tasty and filling. Staff were very pleasant and helpful making it all the more enjoyable..
Spent 2 nights here. Staff were great and compensated us for some issues we had. They have recently taken it over apparently and a few upgrades are needed (beds were super soft and springy) but I got the impression they will make it a top top place. Cooked breakfast was great. Mash and pie with dinner were dry. Mostly a great stay. Lovely country pub with a beautiful garden.
