Been a few times for work lunch and evening outings. Atmosphere has been good, even during busier periods. Friendly service each time. Food is better than your usual chain pub meals but expected better based on price. Cider range is limited.

A proper pub with excellently-kept Butcombe beer and superb food, courtesy of chef Mario. His chalk stream trout salad was a symphony of taste and texture. Put simply; lovely grub. The staff are cheery, helpful and efficient. We can't wait to visit again.
