Great food, great service
Good pub, good atmosphere. Only take cash which in this day and age is strange
An excellent "real" pub serving a good range of ale plus wine with a nice restaurant offering a decent menu of honest plain pub grub. Buzzy atmosphere and great value. No frills or fuss but a great place to go in the middle of this historic town and close to the historic Abbey and picturesque market cross.
Very quaint old pub, with a local feel to it and a great selection of beers, but cards not accepted for drinks.
Lovely place. I visited The Whole Hog for lunch today. (I wanted lunch: nothing too much; not to stay too long; as I needed to get back to work.)It ticked all the boxes: friendly efficient service; good choice - I had an excellent the cheese ploughman's; and some great local beers.
