Food was high standard, friendly and attentive staff, immaculate. Log fire in the evening. What more could you ask for?
We stopped at the rose and crown pub on a spontaneous trip out. When we got inside the barman was welcoming and it had a nice atmosphere even though it was quiet when we got there. We orders drinks and our lunch. Whilst it was being prepared the children got to play in the play area. When the food came out it looked and tasted amazing. We had the house burger. It was all freshly made and was huge. I thought I would never finish it all, but it was so nice I finished the lot.the children's meals are a decent size and again freshly made. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing by. Even if it is just for a quick stop. We will definitely go back again
