Fantastic traditional pub serving excellent food. We had our Christmas dinner here today and can't recommend the Vine Tree more highly. Warm and friendly, lovely old pub with a riaring fire. Very very good food, served quickly by friendly, helpful staff. Excellent wine and champagne list, very good quality. Lots of yummy food, superb atmosphere. Good value 5 course lunch, with all the trimmings, the best Christmas dinner I've had for years. Superb experience, highly recommended.
Food was amazing. Went for works lunch and was amazed at the place. The staff were very nice. But the food was absolutely amazing. Beautiful place lovely and warm and cosy. Defo recommended if you want to go somewhere a bit special. And the sticky toffee pudding. Wow
Good menu with generous portion sizes, caters for gluten free, dog friendly cozy country vibe.
Food and service good but menus and wine lists so overdone. Too much paperwork and complex offering. Chairs and tables ready for the scrap heap.
We have been using this place for years on our way back from the west country. It seems to be getting better and better. The food is delicious and delightful, sadly couldn't manage a sweet.
